James shoots and edits high definition video content for multiple clients, primarily corporate and web based throughout the UK. He covered events and local news stories, self shooting for ITV Local for 3 years, and through working with numerous media companies as a freelancer, has created videos for organisations such as The UK Defence Council, Boots, Heart FM, The Lawn Tennis Association, the MOBOS, Federation of Small Businesses, Radley, Remploy, Newsquest and Merlin Entertainments (Sealife Centres).

He is the main cameraman and editor for Sussex Online TV, a weekly news show for Johnson Press (Sussex Newspapers) in the South.

He has been Director of Photography on one feature film and four short films doing the film festival circuit since 2006.

He is the dedicated videographer for the national music competition Top of The Ox in 2010.

Whilst James often hires in lighting and camera equipment from London or Brighton, he mostly shoots and lights with his own kit, which includes a Sony FX1 HDV Camcorder and ArriLite 800 kit. He edits with Adobe CS4 Master Collection products.
